As part of our ongoing efforts to support local communities and charitable organizations that share a vision of making the world a better place, we are delighted to have contributed positively to the lives of people and communities in need. Here are some examples of our charity work before the end of 2020.
Tickmill Donation to the Cyprus Cancer Patients and Friends Association (PASYKAF)
Tickmill donated a significant amount to the Cyprus Cancer Patients and Friends Association to support services and programs specifically aimed at meeting the needs of cancer patients and their growing families. The association offers comprehensive support to cancer patients from the diagnosis to the recovery phase, including but not limited to palliative and home medical care, social and psychological support, and patient transfer services.
Tickmill Supporting Underprivileged Students in Primary School in Larnaca, Cyprus
Meanwhile, we are delighted to have donated our share to the mission of the Parents Association at Zenon Primary School in Larnaca, Cyprus to improve the welfare of disadvantaged students and their families. Recognizing the need for financial assistance in order for the School to provide the best educational conditions for its students, Tickmill stepped in to support the Parents Association fundraising campaign by making substantial charitable donations.
Tickmill Spreading Hope and Happiness to Children with Disabilities in the Philippines
For the second year in a row, Tickmill is proud to sponsor an annual Christmas gift-giving campaign involving the distribution of relief items to special children in the Philippines. This effort is supported by a dedicated team of volunteers including our country manager, Ms. Sampang who donates their time and energy to ensure children have all the tools and resources they need as well as access to quality education and inclusive participation in civic life.
Tickmill Contribute to the COVID-19 Relief Fund
With the COVID-19 pandemic still plaguing the world, Tickmill is sharing its solidarity with the residents and government of Seychelles by donating a large number of funds to the country's COVID-19 Relief Fund, the proceeds of which will be used to support local vaccination programs. to ensure that the population is protected as much as possible.
Moving forward into 2021, we can only promise that we will continue to enrich our portfolio of Corporate Responsibility initiatives in an effort to empower local communities and strengthen social well-being in meaningful ways.
